The Learner Experience of Online Exams (Centre)

Modified on Mon, 8 Jan at 10:17 AM

Online exams created and scheduled in XAMS will be delivered in the XAMS Exam Player.

The means by which the learner accesses the exam will be dependent on whether the exam:

Exams with no remote proctoring

These exams are generally taken at an exam centre with live invigilators present, or are open book style exams requiring no proctoring.  The process for accessing the online exam, and the learner experience is detailed here.

Remotely proctored exams

The way in which a learner accesses their remotely proctored online exam is dependent upon the proctoring solution used by the AO. These broadly fall under two categories:

  1. Login directly to the XAMS exam player
  2. Login-less access via an exam link sent in an automated email

The process for accessing a remotely proctored exam, and the learner experience is detailed here.

If you are unsure which category your own organisation's solution falls under, please contact Coelrind's support team.
